Margaret River strikes Platinum

Margaret River Speedway is pleased to announce the signing of two major sponsors for the 2009/10 racing season. In a major coup for the club they have managed to secure Cowara Transport as the major sponsor for our biggest event of the season, the 2010 Dirt Late Models ‘Rumble on the River IV’ held over two massive nights at Easter.

The Cowara group has been long time supporters of the club in many ways & earlier this year Paul & Jenny Roberts bought the Transport side of the business and have decided to continue supporting the Margaret River club. Paul Roberts from Cowara Transport said “We are very eager to get behind the local organization and the platinum sponsorship deal is just what we were after.”

In another deal the club has signed the Augusta-Margaret River Times as their media sponsor for the season. Being part of the South West Regional Newspaper Group gives the club huge exposure with a circulation of more than 25000 copies each week. The Augusta-Margaret River Times are now the major sponsor for the 2009/10 Production Sedan season at Margaret River as well as both rounds of the Production Southern 6000 event being held in March at Margaret River and in Manjimup during April.

Add these to the long time sponsors such as Cowaramup Tractor Sales, GT Brake & Clutch, Margaret River Auto 1 & Leeuwin Tyres, it all demonstrates the club’s commitment to look after local sponsors and showcase WORLD CLASS SPEEDWAY racing to the local audience.
