
2008/09 Champion Canopies Dirt Late Model Pro Dirt Series - BCM
Last Saturday night before a packed LMRA awards function crown the announcement was made for the naming rights partner for season 2008/09 in Rob Dewar’s Champion Canopies in Kelmscott.
LMRA Marketing company BCM Motorsports Marketing & Rob Dewar from Champion Canopies got together and decided to make this announcement in front of the crowd at the end of the 07/08 awards ceremony, leading into a very exciting 08/09 Speedway season.
WA Dirt Late Models have set a precedent in the last 5 years with their growth, marketing & promotion and to have Champion Canopies approach them to bring this deal together just shows that the amount of hard work they have put in is certainally starting to pay off, this is one of the biggest deals in WA Speedway and the two groups plan on expanding in future years together.

The Champion Canopies Pro Dirt Series is shaping up to be one of the biggest on record with already over 12 tracks contacting the LMRA to have this powerful Western Australian series head their way, the Dirt Late Model Southern Nationals has expanded to a massive 9 rounds with visits to south west tracks like Bunbury City Speedway, Narrogin Speedway, Manjimup Speedway and the annual grand final of the Southern Nationals at Margaret River for the “Rumble on the River 3” on Easter weekend 2009.
As usual the Champion Canopies Pro Dirt Series will feature heavy at the Perth Motorplex with the running of the 8th Australian Dirt late Model Nationals in late January as well as some other pretty exciting dates to be released at the venue very soon.
As well as the date at the Perth Motorplex & Dirt Late Model Southern Nationals the Champion Canopies Pro Dirt Series will head to Kalgoorlie Speedway for the 3rd annual Fireball 35 and at the end of the regular season the boys are planning to head north for the running of the Dirt Late Model Wild West Tour at Broome Speedway May 1st & 2nd & Pt Headland Speedway May 8th & Newman Speedway May 9th.
Some very big weekends planned for the Champion Canopies Pro Dirt Series which will also see the return of USA stars “The Wooster Warrior” Doug Drown & “Rockin” Ronny Miller both from Ohio as well as still in negotiations two of another of the USA strong Dirt Late Model contingent.
